CIL : Interface Application
CIL, in partnership with the community, promotes personal rights and responsibilities among people with all disabilities and strives to eliminate architectural, communication, and attitudinal barriers by providing education, resources, and training to enhance self-determination through informed choice.
I was asked to design a simple user interface that was specifically requested to be graphically scarse and easily interpreted by screen reading devices. To accomplish this, I built the site mainly using CSS styling in mind, and used graphics spairingly.
The real challenge was designing an interface that was was visually communicative without using images that communicate. Combined with a very specific content hierarchy, this interface was the most challenging, and the most rewarding, project to date.
